PM Suryoday Yojana Online Form 2025-26 Objective

To become a PM Surya Ghar vendor-

A. Complete a training course

Complete the required training - IST Training program to become a PM Surya Ghar vendor

1. Classroom Training: 20 days institutional training covers solar PV systems, safety protocols, installation, and maintenance. The training covers solar On-grid Net Meter PV system installation, safety, and maintenance, followed by a computer-based assessment. Once the training is completed, you can register on the PM Surya Ghar portal by providing company and bank details, manpower credentials, and a declaration as per Annexure V.
2. On-the-Job Training (OJT): After the classroom training, minimum one project site practical installation, OJT with an IST-associated vendor is mandatory.
3. Assessment to get Certificate: A 90-minute computer-based assessment by the Global Advanced Training and Educational Trust (GATE Trust) is required after the classroom training and OJT.

C. Complete a vendor agreement

The ‘Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana’ adds on to an ongoing rooftop solarisation programme running for at least a decade now. About 40 per cent, or 40 gigawatt (GW), of the government’s initial target of setting up 100 GW of solar capacity by 2022 was meant to be through rooftop systems. However, by 2023 end, the country’s total solar capacity stood at 73.3 GW, of which grid-connected rooftop systems comprised only about 11 GW, or 15 per cent.

• This initiative aims to install rooftop solar panels in the houses of middle and poor-class individuals across the country.
• By doing so, it enables them to generate sufficient electricity and reduce their bills.
• The PM Suryoday Yojana Online Form 2024 has achieved self-sufficiency in the energy sector and seeks to assist the poor and citizens below the poverty line with their power bills and lighting-related issues.
• The primary objective of the Pradhanmantri Suryoday Yojana is to bring vibrancy to every household in India.
