28.8 mw solar plant near Satara in Maharashtra
Tata Power's Executive Director (Finance) S Ramakrishnan has said that the company plans to set up a 28.8 mw solar plant near Satara in Maharashtra this scal, as a part of its strategy to meet its clean energy capacity target.This will be second solar plant of the company in Maharashtra. It will be spending over Rs 230 crore this scal for setting up the project, he added.
Tata Power has also partnered with Australia's Sunengy to build the rst oating solar plant at Mulshi. Tata Power has set a target of generating 26,000 mw by 2020 and intends to have a 20-25 per cent contribution from clean power sources.
